Academy is a drop-off model for students in grades 7-12. Our Academy Program runs for 30 weeks in the school year. Students have core classes and are required to attend on Tuesday. While Thursday in-person attendance is optional, assignment completion on Thursday is not optional. Both Tuesdays and Thursdays will run from 9:15 am to 12:50 pm. Students will be assigned coursework to complete in order to provide enough content to satisfy PA graduation requirements for the given subject areas.

On a typical Academy day, students will arrive between 9:05 and 9:15 am. First period begins at 9:15 am and there are four periods throughout the day with the day ending at 12:50 pm.

Students do not need to attend the entire day. Students are welcome to take classes a la carte. If students are not taking classes for all four periods and have a time gap in between classes, they can choose to take a study hall or must be picked up and returned by one of their designated transportation persons.
